Each of the small wooden pictures tells its own story. The branch eyes and the annual rings in their various forms serve as my inspiration. I begin to create the contours and shading with a thin ballpoint pen and paint the surfaces with acrylic paint. For the collages, I use newspaper cuttings to emphasize my ideas. The planed larch timbers are offcuts from my new shed in Steinhaus am Semmering.
