Green Serpentine - Flatterer - Flattering Stones
In the years 1997-1999 I had the opportunity to select and work on serpentines in Bernstein (Burgenland). In the camp of the Pieringer family were serpentines of all sizes and various quality. One day I found a box with partly turned, but unfinished and faulty stones. I continued to work on these by sanding some surfaces to a matt finish and others to a completely smooth finish. The smooth parts I oiled and polished. This is how small sculptures and flattering stones were created.
